Apparently I'm the only one listening to love songs over the last several days, because here I am again!
I was listening to Cyndi Lauper tonight and realized that she sings "I Drove All Night," a love song I like because it expresses so well the impulsive, strong yearning to be with someone you love in a romantic way. Also, it has the sound of a cello
in it, an instrument that should inspire a whole genre of love songs dedicated solely to the cello itself. Unfortunately, I found out by watching a performance other than the video below that the cello sound is just a synthesizer. I had been fooled.
