It was the song "Better By You, Better By Me" from their
Stained Class album, but the whole thing becomes more interesting because that song is just a cover version. It was originally done by Spooky Tooth from their Spooky Two album and that album is hardly the stuff of subliminal messages. I even remember bands like Styx were accused of subliminal messages as well. The 1970s were certainly the era of witch hunts in music.
