At worst, indoctrinated ideas with that can stay with a person for life. People really have to stop messing up the minds of their kids like that.

I guess it's because there haven't been any good or rational arguments that justify homophobia or discrimination against gays. Mostly, they're religious arguments and when they're scientific or anything else, they tend to leak like a sieve.
