The first 4 minutes of the track 'In a Silent Way' is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. It's a great example of really early ambient music.
However, I like my fusion a little more abrasive. Such as Mahavishnu Orchestra, or Miles' Tribute to Jack Johnson. Third fits the abrasive part perfectly. Just listen to the first 2 minutes of the album. If I made this Jack Johnson vs Third... I would probably have to flip a coin. But against In a Silent Way, it's Third for me.
