Duran Duran brings back that 80s era, vibe and mood associated with their music for me. (that one/certain memory & vibe locked in/with time)

I'm listening to Big Country by "Big Country" from the 80s as we speak. So yeah, I have a place for that era in my personal discography.

I always liked the funk bassline aspect to their music, and others from the 80s New Wave and Pop era as well.

You might be able to suggest that the (80s) music brings a certain amount of "sophistication" associated, when considering certain bands and artist music from that particular era. Like "Sting" for example, he wrote music on that (80s) level in my opinion.
