Seefeel - Quique (1993)
A brilliant collision of ambient electronica and dream pop. It's mostly instumental with some incomprehensible female vocals seeping through on some occasions. The whole album has a nice hazy, dreamy quality to it yet still feels oddly danceable at times. I'm guessing the likes of Malory, A Sunny Day In Glasgow and School Of Seven Bells drew influence from this. This album also landed them a deal with Warp records in 1994.
