Yeah, I know mine is the unpopular opinion. I stand by it though. I like 3 guitar chords underneath possibly improvised lyrics. Always have.
Also, you had poetry workshop in 4th grade? Damn, what an advanced society we've become. No wonder kids today don't enjoy basic, natural music like that Dylan song.
