Apart from Pedestrian's opening post and my own attempt at explaining a little history about this genre (however well or badly written), virtually every other post has just been a YT vid with maybe a line or two why said song is so kick ass.
I want to hear other peoples thoughts and views on the scene as a whole and maybe learn something new or debate about specific eras in the scene.
It is never too late to learn something new but the fact that Refused* have been mentioned more than a few times kind of makes me sad because these sort of threads should excite, educate and introduce Hardcore Punk and tell me WHY you like it or find it important.
*BTW I have nothing against Refused. TSOPTC is a great album but there are more out there and I would love to hear them!
