Bob Marley is a very dull musician, reggae as a genre has far too much potential, and talent in it to be relegated to his image. An image created by 1% appreciation of his music, and 99% pot heads needing a vanity figure to slap on their armbands.

I agree a lot with this. Marley massively extended the reach of Reggae for sure and he did write some great tracks but Reggae doesn't begin and end with him.
A timely reminder that he was a lucky musician too.
