So, how late am I on this one? I think that while this album was getting all the hype 2 years ago, my only exposure to it was the second track--Two Weeks, which happened to be featured as the jingle for Apple's new iPod commercial that was in maximum rotation on television at that time. I was pretty pleased to find out recently that that was not very representative of the album as a whole. As to how to describe the album? I'll just say I like it and carelessly throw it into the indie pile. I knew that designation had to be good for something sooner or later.
