Saved is easily the lesser of the two albums and I'll admit I only heard it enough times to know that I don't care for it. Iy was a very brief, but interesting segment of Dylan's career, considering that he became a born again Christian long enough to kick heroin and put out two christian albums. There's a very lengthy and obscure documentary that was made regarding this period of Dylan's life almost exclusively. I can't remember the name to save the life of me, but it was very good.
Really? I would like to see that documentary. I agree, compared to his other albums, they aren't that great. But, Slow Train Coming isn't bad at all. I never thought of it as a Christian rock album , when I look at it like that, it's a great album.
