Sonny Sharrock is a great example. He slathers everything he does with squeels, and discord, but is considered a legend. Honestly, I think there's something 'beyond notes' going on there (albeit, Sharrock himself is hit and miss, imo.).
All I'm saying is that I could probably play as well as Haino.
