i can't really state who i prefer, as my experience of Monsieur Buckethead is only limited to G n R's Chinese Democracy
but i still forcefully throw in my $0.02 and say Jimi was there first, he pioneered funk rock, shoegaze (listen to the studio version of Star Spangled Banner) and jazz-rock fusion (his unreleased stuff on South Saturn Delta)
i doubt Buckethead pioneered anything that wasn't already there - correct me if i'm wrong, did he pioneer blackgaze, chillwave, grime or dubstep? i mean i dunno
edit:- the most emotional thing I've heard are Swans
the most sensual thing I've heard is Prince's Dirty Mind album
