i've always took Swans as a ever evolving musical experimentation.....for such a large discography they really rarely created the same sound....while kind of keeping the same feelings....i also would say that in their own right pretty much all of their present beauty....although i agree with Zero's comment about the Jarboe songs.....she brought a very interesting element to the band
