When put into perspective of the time era, Hendrix wins hands down.
What Hendrix was doing at the time was unheard of, and no one else was coming close to being able to play and create music that way.
Whereas Buckethead is very fascinating and inventive, you've heard other people playing this way in a 'similar fashion, not to mention Buckethead is nowhere near the composer that Hendrix was.
Without Hendrix there wouldn't be a Buckethead, he opened the doors wide open.
Then again, this is like apples & oranges
