I havent heard this album but I saw them play a few tracks off it on Jools Holland and yes, it was dreadful.
One thing though. Why has this thread focused almost exclusively on Metallica? From what I heard, this wasn't Metallica at their best. Of course it wasn't. However there was nothing massively horrific about them in what they played on his show.
Lou Reed playing with Metallica on the other hand...
