Talking Heads were far more popular in the UK than the Cars were back in the 1980s and the Talking Heads especially around their Speaking in Tongues period were serioulsy overplayed and it was always cool to be seen liking them and David Byrne. The Cars were only popular here on their first album and then again on the success of "Drive" several years later. Most people know the Cars here, but they`ll probably only know one song!
