Ah, yea that's a bit more in context there.
So it looks like there's pretty much a guarantee that if you fly straight up and eject, you'll eventually land back near the c-pit of the aircraft every time, which makes the real challenge just doing it with good timing and an enemy jet reasonably close and behind your own jet.
I have all of like, 3 or 4 minutes in a jet on BF3, so I wouldn't know from experience.
