I haven't heard the whole album, but I saw a clip of Lou Reed and Metallica playing on the Jools Holland show, and was actually suprised at how non-terrible the song they played was. I thought it would be hilariously bad because of all the stuff I'd heard about it, but some of the riffs were actually pretty sweet, if a little generic, and I thought Reed's voice was sort of a cool addition. Don't get me wrong, it was still pretty lame and weird, but I was surprised at how decent it was. I still probably won't listen to the whole album though.
