Default Merry Xmas

Raiding the fridge, just one last time
What i am after is,
Xmas special, Xmas cheer
what's Xmas without tears
I for one believe that hardship rules
so i am tucking in, it ain't cruel.
Drink my lager and my beer
join the festivities it's the end of the year.

All them smiling faces
not troubled in the least
all getting ready, for the ultimate feast.
All the presents under the tree
life at the top, well it must be easy
not taking anything, that they should miss
leaving there door open, they took that risk
all for one and one for all
i live by that, if you should call.

Whats mine is yours, all that twaddle
invite me in, into anothers muddle
for what, only to be pushed aside when it comes to an end,
not smiling now are you, call yourself a friend.
So i drink your booze, it's making me merry
are you really a christian, a believer in christ
or are you pretending, that you care, and you are nice
Well then when you get back
you will not be sad at all
instead you will be excited all the more
that you have helped someone poor and frail
that for an hour you helped a lost soul out of that gale.

You who have family and friends and money to squander
take a peak on the lowly side, think or just ponder
that we are all human, though our looks may differ
you in tweed, sending your brother down river.
I have issues, today i am taking it out on you
tomorrow will be different, then again it could still be you
So i am drunk now, slurring my speech
thanks for the drink, though it is all cheese.
