The Clash did LOADS of reggae songs on their later albums especially Sandinistas , mostly produced by reggae producer Mikey Dread recorded at Lee Scratch Perry`s studio in Jamaica yet people only really seem to take notice of their debut album & London Calling.
In fact here`s a list of them
Police & Thieves
Bankrobber
White Man In Hammersmith Palais
Armagideon Time
Pressure Drop
Rudie Can`t Fail
Revolution Rock
Junco Partner
Rebel Waltz
The Crooked Beat
One More Time/One More Dub
Lets Go Crazy
If Music Could Talk
The Equalizer
Broadway
Charlie Don`t Surf
Version City
Living In Fame
Version Pardner
Car Jamming
Ghetto Defendant
Innoculated City
And yes I did listen to the whole of Sandinistas to get most of that list.
