trans-gendered people, we've been discussing it for a few pages now.....I think.
We're doing a very small part in discussing it, we're altering/strengthening public opinion which is fairly important if you want to go about changing legislation.

Well I'm sure you'd need a law in place to protect a certain minority from discrimination in the first place otherwise your case wouldn't be very strong.
