Well i thought i heard a Floyd comparison, but i really don't see how this is straight up metal unless we're talking Pop Metal. It sounds much closer to A7X or the like as opposed to Sabbath, Priest, or Maiden.
I saw his tattoo close up when i saw him and i was like "whoa, thorns/spikes on face = rad." I think it's really cool and its especially killer since he did it for the injury.
Yeah i heard about the SOAD thing. Pretty whack, but kinda funny. I'm glad he came out ok, his guitar style is pretty damn essential to the band. They actually talked about the time before Crack the Skye during his down time on the website. Or they did, they replaced it with a review like thing of the new album.
