I wouldn't say it's perfect, but it's certainly kept me very satisfied. I think for the firs time in a Beth-style RPG I'm enjoying combat. Before they were all about the narrative and the freedom, but now murdering Bandit clans with fireballs and Atronachs feels so satisfying.

I've been playing Shogun 2 tonight, and I intend to play it over Skyrim a bit more than I do now. I've reached the point where I'm understanding the basic tactics, how the campaign works, the units and their roles, and I'm loving it. With a bit more play I'd imagine this will be better than Rome was, and Rome was a damn good game. The soundtrack's as stunning as ever, by the way.
