I remember when Morrowind came out .. My friend had this awesome gaming rig that could run it. We thought the graphics were pretty awesome at the time (look at that water!). But while it was technically up to scratch, it just doesn't look that great, like there's something strange going on with the designers

Now I just think of it as a sort of Bethesda hallmark.

When it comes to gaming creds, I'd think you could earn even more by playing Daggerfall which is also open-world and super massive. In fact, Morrowind is only 0.01% the size of Daggerfall which features a landscape of nearly half a million square kilometres.
