Ok time to update this thread and so talking of Stratovarius, next up is this album and their second with new vocalist Timo Kotipelto who stepped into the band as lead vocalist after previous vocalist Timo Tolkki took over guitar duties, this album also was the first that would provide the group with their definitive line up and provide the launchpad for their famous Visions album. Episode was also the band's most ambitious album to date and despite having a weaker second part to the album is still an important album for the band. I always thought Timo Tolkki a great vocalist and Timo Kotipelto stepped in and probably provided the band with more vocal depth. At times Kotipelto sounds amazingly like James La Brie of Dream Theater especially on slower songs, a fact which a lot of people may see as a negative.
