I don't think anybody has discussed the graphics and the world detail on here (if you have then my apologies) Anyways, the most impressive thing about Skyrim for me are the beauty of the landscape and the textures of the terrain along with all the random characters that you run into, I actually spend a fair amount of time just exploring the immediate terrain.

I've always been put off by games that had boatloads of pointless side quests, but in Skyrim they are just as enjoyable as the main quest and in some cases even more so. The world captures the fantasy epic perfectly.

I find my main problem when playing is still trying to decide whether to play in first or third person perspective (as at the moment I keep changing) most old hand gamers tend to play in first person based on the you tube vids that I've seen, I guess both modes have their pros and cons.
