Fav genre is metal, more specifically thrash and death, starting to get into melodic death and prog as well.
favourite bands/artists include Lab of God, Slayer, Pantera, Meshuggah, Opeth, suffocation, Nile, Psycroptic, Kalmah, Dark tranquility.
Mates have been trying to get me into pain of salvation, dream theater, both great bands. saw them live together a few years back.
