Loathesome Pete sent me Samantha Fish, Cassie Taylor, Dani Wilde - Girls With Guitars (2011). If I remember right, his PM said something about it being right up my alley, and he was pretty much right. I love blues rock, I love blues guitar, and I love it when ladies sing the blues well, and these three most definitely do that.

The album was reminiscent of something Susan Tedeschi would put out, but dare I say, even better. A little more eclectic and groovy. The album starts off really strong and wanes a bit after the third song, but picks back up in the last three or four songs. My fave song was "Mr. Loving Man", and their cover of "Jet Airliner" was pretty rockin.

Over all, this one was decidedly a hit. An album that will get many more plays from me. Thanks Pete...good call!
