To Jans, I actually started messing around with a little synth loop my friend made the day before the theme was announced, but it was by no means even started as a song. At that point, it was just the idea for the first two chords in the progression and some synth tweaking for a bass patch. I thought I may have had to do something else when the theme dropped, but when it did, I figured I'd just hammer out a structure and see where it went, and go onto something else if it didn't. By the time I was writing the lyrics for it, I figured I'd just stick with it and hope for the best.
