A place like Bhutan, not so much, a place like the US or Canada - extreme need of a discarding of the two party dictatorship which is held up and backed by financiers.

All the majority of leftist political idealogy is going to do is feed a few more people, offer a safety net for some, disproportionately tax others and create a veil that its fair and any better than its barely different modern conservative counterpart. The mega rich, the financiers, the elite will always find a way to retain their wealth and power and will exploit a new left wing system just like they exploit their current one and a by product is that you'll have now have given the state all the more power over your lives in controlling and distributing the wealth(but not the wealth of the elite)in a new manner, with more and more corruption.

So, I tire of these cliche rants against one side or another, they're both equally inept and a band that's criticizing a neo-con society, but calling for socialism is quite humorous to me, since most of them call for freedom. Ha.

And every place in the world nearly has a laundry list of political issue's, deal with it, live and die with it. Rise against isn't lyrically innovative, nor even good. Its cliche socialist, straight edge noise under a catchy package.
Social Anarchism. It's a nice thought. Even a government 'of the people, by the people, and for the people' might not be so bad, if it could ever exist. Who knows?

That's the attitude. It grows equally tiresome.

You're right. They aren't all that innovative. And, it is the same old song and dance, a bit of a cliche. But, they do have their moments, and, two or three pretty darn good albums. And again, not exactly a political message in song. You can listen, or read, but, you still won't hear it.

Bhutan? You can't say that! It's the happiest country in Asia, and, the eighth happiest country in the world! According to a 'global survey'.

This is a list I just have to see. I really want to know which country ranks number one! And, is it the country that is happy, or, the people in the country? I read it ten minutes ago, and, I am still laughing.

According to my lifetime of experience, and observation; I believe that the happiest people in America at least, are the mentally retarded. They are just happy to be here, and, carefree. No stress at all. I believe it's a blessing, and, I kind of envy them. I wish to be so fortunate.

And, everyone feels this pseudo-sympathy for the 'less fortunate'. People stand up for things out of guilt, not compassion, or love. And, I can't even exclude myself totally from that category.

And, your post is extremely accurate for the most part. These regimes do get set up, and, backed by the financiers. And, if they quit playing ball, they get torn down. The only point I disagree with is your apparent apathy. I can't debate your post. You are spot on. As long as there is money to made, and, opportunity to capitalize for those few elites, it will never change, and, we live, die, and deal with it.

'Republicrats'. That about sums it up

Here's a pipe dream from a real political artist. It's not punk. It's riot folk, but, there's where you find the real political rants of prose and music.

A lengthy, pointless rant with no argument. Sorry.
