My point was that a part doesn't need to be filled by an A-List Actor in order to be good. The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy is a good example of that as it features few actors you could consider A-List before the movies came out, yet had very good casting.
If you have a beef with Watchmen's casting because you didn't like how they interpreted the parts, that's fine, but then it's their acting you have a problem with, not how well known they are.
