Batlord, that was the best Dillenger Escape Plan song I've heard. It was still horrible, however; the loud/soft dynamic nonsense, portions (such as the piano) added because "????", the horn section....
Also, was it just me, or was the production of that song pretty godawful? It sounded flat, like early Scott Burns productions, but without the fuzz or grime.

Really, the level of abbreviation with this subgenre is almost Soviet in it's frequency and intensity, and the fact that the fans can communicate effectively using it seems to be indicative of a sort of epistemic closure.
