Thanks, Erica. My hearing is greatly improved - the myrinogotomy was done with a laser device and recovery was very quick - I was able to return to work the next day. It dramatically improved my hearing almost immediately - an audio test revealed I am down from the equivalent of about 80% hearing to only about 30% hearing loss. Still have a sensation of ringing/pressure in the ear, but that is expected to improve in the coming weeks. I am doing much better, thanks!
