The problem with HWR is the f
ucking interludes in between every goddamn track. At first they're charming in a quirky kind of the way, but as the album goes on they begin to seriously affect its flow and momentum. Individually, each actual song is superb, there isn't a weak track, indeed I'd say The Shiney Sea and Benefits of Lying (With Your Friends) are my two favourite Apples songs. As far as albums as a collective whole go though, I have to say I prefer Fun Trick Noisemaker.
