The Word Is a Band composed of three members, one of which (Luther, I always call him Gunther for some reason) is the Guitarist/singer for NMA. The other two members are Robert Randolph of Robert Randolph and the Family Band (incredible band by the way), and John Medeski from Medeski, Martin, and Wood (one of the best Nu-jazz trios in the world, if you didn't know that already).
