Doesn't matter. Do your best and see what happens! I'm not really laying down any restrictions on quality, I just want people to make an effort without going overboard.
The idea is that someone with poor gear should still submit if they take some time to make it sound the best they can, but someone with good gear shouldn't get an auto-win just for having good production.
