Eh? If it has to do with how fresh the food is, why are obesity rates higher amongst rural denizens than those who live in cities?

You have to take into account how urban planning (or lack thereof) and the incidental exercise people get in the course of a day effects obesity. It may sound silly, but if you literally have to drive everywhere, you're missing out on a lot of exercise, especially in winter months.
Now... not to get controversial.... but would anyone want to wager whether there's a correlation between below-average IQs and Obesity?
