I beg to differ. I think Foo Fighters have the pop melodic appeal, rootsy rock swagger, and sensitive heaviness (not to mention some sorta clever lyrics) that make them a much more distinguishable band than the post-Britpop, early Radiohead/U2 sounds Coldplay mass produces.
