I was completely confused, depressed, and frustrated the first time it happened. I mean, 16-year-old kids and ex-cons are having an easier time getting the job!
The last one I applied for, though, told me I was over-qualified. That's complete bull****. I am more than willing to accept minimum wage, even part-time hours right now. They're refusing me employment because the last job I held paid almost double minimum wage, and they think I'll expect that of them. I DON'T.

The job market here is hopeless too. If a good job comes up, 100's of people apply, and those with experience get the jobs. How am I supposed to get experience if no one will hire me! I'm most likely going to do a IT course while I'm waiting for my operation. Apparently the institute basically guarantees a job at the end of it.
