With that logic, you're going to have a hard time to enjoy a lot of music out there. Considering there are a lot of bands upon even more bands that use the same techniques and riffs and influences of other bands.
What i'm picking up from what you're saying is that bands that use influences from other bands aren't amazing. Which is a very flawed theory, but you can believe what you want.
