I think that's the problem. If
Blue was my first listen to Baroness, I would have loved it, and then
Red would have just shot me the rest of the way to the moon. But as it is, the first time I listened to
Blue, I had spent at least a year being gaga over
Red, so
Blue just felt like a disappointment. I like it a lot more these days, but it still feels like a missed opportunity to me.
