I just skimmed the thread, so forgive me if it's been said, but i feel like the so called injustice of societal pressure on womens' bodies is actually creating an acceptance of unhealthy figures. Size 16 =/= unhealthy because Size 16 =/=fat, but fat does equal unhealthy in the same way that very skinny equals unhealthy. For some reason though people only get upset when fat women are criticized and not when things like this are said:

In my opinion though, someone living an unhealthy lifestyle shouldn't be offended by criticism if they are complacent about it. I just wanted to point out the double standard.
