If you're looking for something to curb the shakes and sweats that accompany waiting for a new Tool release I would recommend checking out the band Rishloo. They kind of occupy the same space as Pineapple Thief, a band that manages to mimic the sound and style of another, better band, but does so in such a way that makes them quite listenable. I would recommend their 2007 album
Eidolon, although I've heard good things about their 2004 album
Terras Fames.
