We take into consideration it has to follow
A Storm of Swords which was pretty much all action that so much of the plot became a bit disorientating.
A Feast for Crows is definitely a lot more slow-paced and some characters you've grown fond of wont have chapters in it, but it does flesh out a few characters like Cersei and Brienne while also acting as a set up for the next two books.
