I know 1 - ONE - guy with good tattoos. They have cost him A LOT. And still, not all of his tattoos are good.
Another factor I haven't seen mentioned is size. Large tattoos aren't normally done in one sitting and if it happens to be something that will be part of a bigger piece (like a full sleeve with fine detail and multiple colours) then you're far more likely than not going to need to pay for a redo on the oldest parts so they match with the most recent additions.
Also don't ever think a tattoo with any sort of fine detail is ever 'done' unless you want it to slowly transform into looking like crap.

Thanks? Though just like Janszoon I'm kind of confused as to this as well hahahaha

And no, even if I think the OP is kind of foolish, you never know who's lurking and reading a particular thread (atm - ~20 members ~560 guests viewing the site). So for the silent majority of visitors to the site who might be considering the same thing I'll offer what I feel is legit advice.
So I'll repeat it one last time again (this is what the 74th time?) - DO NOT GET A TATTOO OF A FACE (OR A FACE TATTOO).

Really... face tattoos make you look like the bad kind of crazy.
