That's pretty true, a lot of his stuff is similar to Hendrix's. Take his playing on "Snow (Hey Oh)", for example.



That isn't just an emulation of Hendrix, that main riff sounds like he directly took that straight from Hendrix and took out a lot of the nuances and offshoots to make it somewhat repetitive.
