Thats why im no longer mad at the record industry. Dont get me wrong its run horribly and the cost of a digital copy is outrageous, BUT downloading has given the listener ability to imo take what is often rightfully theirs. I spend retarded amounts of money going to overprice live shows because I have no choice. I have spent tons of money on cd's and tapes and vinyl and nearly all that money didnt go to the artist.

Fact of the matter is if you like an artist buy their ****, and get it from their website. Most artists I listen to anyways have publically come out and said go ahead, download thats not how I make most of my living. They mention how its absurd to expect people not to download it.

Also if im buying a Nirvana album or a Hendrix album....you think that money is going to a person who worked for it? Nope.
