Well, what's the point of making a WWII board game if you're not going to accurately recreate WWII? I like having to struggle as the Axis. It makes it feel like the actual Axis, who were pretty much hopeless. If the Axis were on an even footing with the Allies, then it would ruin that feeling.
Although I wouldn't mind changing it so that America had a battleship at Hawaii and a carrier on the west coast, which would be more accurate than the way it is now.
