I'm still a big fan of all these bands. Since many years. They were great and they are great. They just change over the years. Obviously, bands include human beings who change like us. Some people don't get it, which is strange. What do I think the future of it is? Djent is nu metal. Lot of people (especially guitarists) are saying "djent is not a genre". Well, it is, because if you say "djent" you already have in mind a particular style of playing as well as some bands. Periphery you can easy consider as nu metal. When I was younger, I always thought you can not come out with anything new anymore. And then Tool came out. After Tool I had the same feeling, that nothing else can be done. Until I discovered Meshuggah. What's next? We will see in a few years.
